Program Description
The Internet of Things Associate in Applied Science degree program provides students with skills needed
to apply the IoT concepts in the area of computers, networking, robotics, cyber security and
automation
Program Outcomes
The student will be able to:
- Understand business opportunities of Internet of Things
- Identify main components of IoT devices
- Understand the different types of sensors and their applications
- Explain IoT technologies
- Understand the techniques to connect and read sensor data
- Discern IoT sensor networks including their architecture and protocols (Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Bluetooth, and ZWave
- Understand how to secure and monitor a network of IoT devices, their connectivity, and how information is exchanged between them
